Sazid placed a bouquet of wildflowers on his father's grave, marked with the UN insignia. He stood there, gazing at the simple headstone that told the story of a peacekeeper's sacrifice. Sazid  whispered, "I miss you, Dad," feeling a mix of pride and sadness. As a gentle breeze rustled the leaves, he knew his father's legacy of service lived on in his heart. With a small salute, Sazid turned away, carrying the lessons of love and bravery his father had left behind.

Arif, 30, was an electrical engineer in Dhaka. To meet his grandparents, he went to his village. While he was discussing family matters with relatives, electricity went off. On asking, he was told that electricity came only for a few hours. So, Arif decided to provide his village 24×7 hours electricity. He held a small meeting with sarpanch and other villagers and told them about his idea to which they all agreed. He first ascertained the main dark spots of his village and the number of households on which the solar panels could be installed. He took out his phone, searched for good solar panels and contacted the distributor. He convinced the suppliers to provide panels at a minimum price. He soon received all the panels and with help of villagers installed them especially in the washroom and kitchen first. He also told the sarpanch to get them repaired and maintained whenever required. After spending some more days with relatives and new friends, he returned and joined work.

Offering reassurance and pledging government intervention, they decided to live among the villagers until the situation improved. Presenting alarming statistics and acknowledging similar concerns from the neighboring country's villages, they brokered a crucial meeting between both governments. After negotiations, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed, designating border areas for military use and compensating affected families.
