Be polite but confident when talking in the discussion. Share your thoughts and suggestions assertively. In a good team, everyone should contribute, so by actively and respectfully participating, you make sure your ideas are heard and valued.

Is the planning test a group task or an individual one?

Undoubtedly this test is a group task. 

Are there any tips and tricks for excelling in planning tests?

Listen to the instructions carefully 

Write before the think during the written part

Don’t cut and overwriting in your answer script 

When you share your plans always take the stick during the discussion session

Don’t argue and don’t  be aggressive with your group mates.

Always respect their plans and opinions

Remember GTO sir will counter to confuse your group . That time all of you represent your plan from your point of view. It’s not advisable to change your decision back to back and alternative planning.

The planning test has two parts. First, there's a written phase in the Testing Hall, and then a discussion phase outdoors in groups. During the written phase, you get a question paper and map. It's crucial to read the scenario well during this time because, in the discussion phase at the hut, only the map is provided, not the question paper.

In the ISSB planning test, candidates will deal with tasks like reading maps, planning routes, managing resources, making strategic decisions, responding to emergencies, planning missions, organizing logistics, managing time, and coordinating team activities.
